The CTMDT opens the registration period for the first edition of the Portuguese Course for foreigners with the objective to prepare students from another countries to study in our regular courses of Praise and Worship and Missions. The purpose of the course is to enable students to interact and grasp the Portuguese language in its basic level. Students will be instructed about their reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities.  They will learn grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary.


-Be more than 17 years old.
-Gratuated in high school.
-Be an active member in a Protestant Christian Church, that follows the bible principles of conduct and spirituality.
-Have the desire to learn and live and a different culture.
-Be available to study in Brazil for the next two years and a half.
-Be conscious of the calling for the ministry in the Praise and Worship área or in the Mission area.
-Have resources to suply the expenses with the monthly payment of the school and with food.


The students of the portuguese course for foreigners will not be limited to the specific classes from their courses, being available to the leadership of the school to participate of many activities, as services, maintenance of the campus, cleaning and organization of the own bedroons, and more inside activities.

All full-time students must submit themselves to all Schedule during all day, including, the time to get up and to sleep. On weekends, the shcedule is more flexible and the full-time students often go out for a ride and to participate of the services in Lagoinha Baptist Church or another church (free choice)

- Learn to communicate in the target language throughout meaningful and purposeful tasks and activities. Which involve:
- Reading and comprehension activities;
- Role-play and conversation tasks;
- Listening exercises (songs, films, news);
- Writing exercises (notes, letters, e-mails, etc);
- Pronunciation exercises;
- Vocabulary activities;
- Grammar exercises.

The total value of the Portuguese Course is R$2240,00 (material included), being R$400,00 of registrantion that must be paid on 09/10/2007, and the rest can be paid in 4 payments of R$460,00 until the 10th day of each month from October, what correspond the total time of this course (08/20/2007 until 01/20/2007)  The food is not include in the total of the course. The restaurant inside the campus offers self-service food, and the value is payd at the same time, according to the weight of the plate.

OBS: The CTMDT clears that there is the necessity of a confirmation of a least quantity of registrations for that the Portuguese Course can happen.

In February of 2008, the student, if approved in the Portuguese Course, starts the course of Praise and Worship or Missions, according to the choice of each student. The value of this course will be informed in November of 2007.
